Did you have this same problem?

I knew it was going to be a roller coaster
ride but I wasn't prepared for this.

The launch of Renegade Professional on
Thursday was both a smashing success...
and at the same time...

A huge disappointment for many.

Within the first 50 minutes alone of
opening the doors, we had 1,300 new
members join.

At one point we were getting over
40 new members a second.

And the positive results and feedback
have been staggering.

However, even though we did everything we
possibly could to prepare (we bought not
one, but TWO new servers at Rackspace.com,
one of the biggest names in hosting out
there)...

Our system STILL had trouble handling
all the traffic that came pouring in.

I’ve never seen so many emails from people
who knew the value of Renegade Professional
and wanted to enroll, but couldn’t because
the website was overloaded.

The very same people that Mike and I have
dedicated the last three years of our lives
to, were unable to get the help they needed.

Many took time off work or rearranged their
schedules just so that they could be at
their computers on launch day.

Just to give you an example of the lengths
that some went to, here’s what one person
(who managed to get in) said on the blog:

Here’s how bad I wanted in.

I’m in Tel Aviv at the moment. I rushed a colleague
off to the airport, last evening, hoping to get
back to the hotel before the link went active.

I actually didn’t drop him off until the EXACT time of the
opening of the early bird link (6 p.m. here). At that time,
I tried to link via Blackberry - didn’t work. I started
racing back to the hotel and then had an idea.

I pulled off the highway and found a side street where I
tethered my Blackberry to my laptop. It worked like a charm
and I got in. (Made me feel like Jason Bourne :-)
